Neigong means ‘internal work’. Our neigong routines are designed to promote health, resilience and longevity throughout life. Each one is drawn from the gongfu traditions we practise.

Wang Jiwu was a practitioner of xingyiquan and Chinese medicine who devised his 16 longevity exercises for his patients, following the principles of xingyi. Tian Gan (translated as ‘celestial stem’) comes from our roots in Shen Long Xingyiquan and Gao Baguazhang. Finally, Taiji Neigong forms part of our Taijiquan curriculum.

These classes can serve to complement treatments received at the clinic, help develop healthy habits to prevent future illnesses, and even act as a first step towards a more in-depth study of internal martial arts.

Functional Training

All prices include taxes

Our functional training sessions are comprehensive routines designed to improve health, mobility, coordination and long-term fitness.

Based on the principles of xingyiquan, baguazhang and taijiquan, they develop the internal qualities specific to these martial arts whilst offering tangible benefits for overall physical performance, whether in a sport, recreational or everyday context. Several exercises can also be adapted to rehabilitation goals or specific needs.

During the summer, we practise Fu Hu Gong, a training method focused on coordinating breath and movement. The exercises mainly utilise body weight and tactile cues to aid the learning of fundamental movements.

In spring and fall, we focus on White Crane training. Inspired by the traditional style of the same name, this routine incorporates more dynamic movements that develop coordination, stability and body control, whilst remaining accessible to beginners.

Gongfu, often called kung fu, does not refer to a specific martial art, but rather to a high level of skill acquired through practice, perseverance and time. This concept applies to many disciplines, including martial arts, tuina, acupuncture, sport and the arts.

Our gongfu package gives you access to all our regular classes, including xingyiquan, baguazhang, taijiquan, eskrima, neigong and functional training.

Rooted in recognised martial traditions, our systems are taught with respect and rigour. Each discipline offers a unique approach to physical development, martial skills, self-defence and body control.

Monthly and 3-to-6-month subscriptions are renewed automatically. Visit your customer profile to make changes.
